The Move for Change Challenge will be pausing from 1 February.
The last day to earn Move for Change rewards will be the 31 January 2025. We hope to be back in future, so please do keep the app, and check below for all the essential information.
However, we're going out with a bang, and one user in Brighton & Hove will win a free holiday on the Eurostar, including travel, hotel and spending money.
Each sustainable journey you make in Brighton & Hove before the end of January is a ticket into the draw, so let's make this month the biggest one ever!
Over the last 4 years, we've:
- Made over 3.7 million sustainable journeys
- Travelled 8 million miles by foot, bike and public transport - that's 320 trips around the Earth's equator 🌍💚
- Saved around 1,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions
- Burned over 291 million calories - that's around 1.2 million chocolate bars 🏃🍫
- Donated over £1900, including to twelve local charities. 💝

Can I continue to earn rewards after the challenge has finished?
Yes! You will be a part of the BetterPoints National Challenge, where 25,000 BetterPoints (£25) is up for grabs every week. Simply continue to record your walking, cycling and public transport journeys to earn entries to the prize draw.
Plus, you can continue to monitor your personal progress and emissions data on the Home 🏠 tab to keep you motivated.
We encourage you to keep an eye on the app and BetterPoints emails as we'll let you know if another funded challenge comes to your area.
What happens to the BetterPoints I've earned?
Your points will not expire if you continue to use the app to record your journeys.
You can redeem your points as and when you wish via the Rewards 🎁 tab. No need to cash out straight away.
If you decide not to continue using the app you have at least 18 months to use your BetterPoints. We will email you before they are due to expire.
Can I give my feedback?
Of course! You can share your comments in our Move for Change Year 4 Evaluation Survey. You will earn 250 BetterPoints straight away and enter a draw for FIVE 20,000 (£20) prizes on 1 February.
We'll be launching this on the 8th January, so keep an eye out for the notification.
